Every alert tells you what broke, and why.

Each failure arrives with a ranked likely cause, a confidence score, who is affected and the next step to take. When the evidence is inconclusive, MageSentinel reports UNKNOWN instead of guessing, so an alert is always worth acting on.

What does MageSentinel actually do?

It buys from your store on a schedule. A real browser opens your storefront, finds a product, adds it to the cart, fills in checkout and goes as far as the plan allows — up to placing a real test order. If any step fails, you get an alert with the evidence attached.

How is that different from uptime monitoring?

Uptime monitoring asks whether your homepage responds. It answers yes while your payment step returns a 500 and nobody can buy anything. MageSentinel fails in exactly the cases that cost you orders, because it walks the same path a customer does.

Do I have to install anything on my store?

No. The checkout monitor drives your storefront from outside, like any visitor, so you can be running within minutes of signing up. The optional Magento module or WordPress plugin adds store-side diagnostics — platform version, active modules or plugins, recent errors — which turns "checkout is broken" into "checkout is broken because of this".

Will the test orders pollute my real data?

Real test orders are opt-in and off by default. When you enable them you choose the product, the customer details and the payment method used, so the orders are recognisable and easy to filter or cancel. Every plan below Agency stops before order placement.
