Terms of Service

1. Who this agreement is with

This agreement is between you and MageSentinel ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms.

2. The service

MageSentinel performs automated checks against web stores you nominate: HTTP availability checks and synthetic checkout runs driven by a real browser. It records the outcome, captures evidence from failed runs, and sends alerts to the channels you configure.

We do not guarantee that MageSentinel will detect every failure of your store, nor that every alert is correct. It is a monitoring tool, not a warranty on your store.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for the security of your credentials and API keys, and for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may invite others into your organisation. Anyone you invite acts on your behalf and within the permissions you grant them.

4. What you may monitor

You may only add stores that you own or that you are authorised to monitor. Monitoring generates real traffic and, on plans that allow it, real orders — adding a store you have no right to test is a misuse of the service and grounds for termination.

You are responsible for the consequences of test orders you enable on your own store, including any charges, stock movements or downstream automation they trigger.

5. Fees and billing

Plans are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. Trials are free for the stated period and require no card; when a trial ends the account moves to the Free plan unless a paid plan was chosen.

You can cancel at any time from Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period already paid, and monitoring continues until that period ends. Prices may change with at least 30 days notice before your next renewal.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use MageSentinel to attack, overload or probe systems you do not control, to circumvent the limits of your plan, or to resell the service without a written agreement with us.

We may suspend an account that endangers the service or other customers, and will tell you why.

7. Availability

We work to keep MageSentinel running continuously, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider failures and incidents happen. Where a contract sets a service level, that contract prevails over this section.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profits or indirect damage — including losses arising from a store failure MageSentinel did not detect.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate for material breach of these terms, or with 30 days notice for any reason, refunding any unused prepaid period. After termination we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance by email. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

Mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country of residence applies regardless of anything in these terms.
